The Debt Capital Markets team at Inspire is at the heart of our financial strategy and is the financial engine that fuels our portfolio’s growth and stability. Managing over $12.5 billion in fixed and floating rate debt – including Whole Business Securitizations and Term Loans – we oversee 20+ debt tranches with a weighted average coupon under 5% and maturities extending through 2032. Our innovative approach to capital structure, interest rate hedging, and leverage ensures Inspire’s long-term financial resilience. From overseeing complex securitizations and interest rate hedging to leading capital allocation initiatives, our team is integral to maintaining Inspire’s competitive edge.
Our team plays a pivotal role in driving Inspire's financial strategy. With annual interest expenses exceeding $600 million and operational cash flow of $600 million+, we ensure that every dollar is strategically deployed to balance growth, innovation, and deleveraging goals.
You’ll be part of a collaborative and dynamic team responsible for everything from creating and maintaining detailed amortization schedules to monitoring secondary market trading activity and aligning with debt covenants. Our work spans capital markets, compliance, financial modeling, and strategic presentations to investors, rating agencies, and lenders. With a focus on operational excellence, policy creation, and cutting-edge reporting, the Debt Capital Markets team combines analytical rigor with forward-thinking innovation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop detailed financial models for debt portfolio analysis; Conduct advanced forecasting for all capital market activities; Analyze trading activity and market trends to provide actionable insights; Support the execution of debt transactions, including issuance and refinancing.
- Oversees and prepares analysis, compliance and reporting related to cap structure, amortization schedules, forecasting, trading activity, leverage, capacity, letters of credit, financing and professional fees, SOFR notices and rolls, WBS reports, leasing, audits, compliance, systems, reporting, hedging, etc.
- Oversees, prepares, reconciles, budgets and forecasts all financing and professional fees related to debt, advisory, and issuance activities; Responsible for coordinating monthly and quarterly reporting package and review with leadership.
- Ensure compliance with Indentures, Credit Agreements, other ancillary debt and derivative agreements, including adherence to regulatory requirements and reporting standards; Possesses institutional knowledge and subject matter expertise of all debt agreements, indentures, etc.
- Partners with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen relationships, socialize activities, negotiate, and build awareness; Main liaison for WBS operational and financing matters with Trustees, Backup Managers, and Control Parties.
- Continually evaluate the effectiveness of operational procedures and controls to maximize departmental productivity and minimize errors; Own and build on current models to forecast financials and operational KPIs; Leverage analytical tools and methodologies including visualizations to present findings; Builds, maintains, and leverages TMS Capital Markets Module to automate manual processes.
- Coordinates and oversees weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and compliance with various debt covenants across Notes, Credit Agreement, Securitizations, etc.; memorializes and maintains funds flow, waterfalls, and Term Sheets; Shares process improvement ideas on simplifying WBS compliance and reporting.
- Collect, manage and manipulate data from multiple sources for analysis, identifying trends, and sharing insights; Monitor and report on market data including macroeconomics and peers/competitors; Create dashboards and visualizations to track metrics; Recommend and implement solutions to strengthen operational controls, introduce efficiencies, automate processes and incorporate best practices; Troubleshoots complex data integrity issues and collaborates with stakeholders; Identify opportunities for process improvement and takes the initiative leading the effort.
- Oversees Capital Markets SharePoint site ensuring folders, naming conventions, and files are current.
- Actively engaged in professional self and team development; Accountable for creating and promoting a high-performance culture; Aligned with cultural values of the team; Continuously drives improvement initiatives forward.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum: 4 yr degree in Business or equivalent job experience required
- Preferred: MBA, CTP, AAP, CPA, CFA
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum: 3+ years in Treasury, Economics, Finance, Accounting or similar role
- Preferred: 1+ year managerial experience
