The Senior HRIS Analyst will support the design, configuration, and administration of Inspire Brand's HR talent and people related systems and processes. This individual will serve as a subject matter expert in Workday Talent and Performance Management, including business process management, report writing, configuration, data management, data extraction, and integration liaison between vendors and IT – Enterprise Applications. The role collaborates closely with our Talent Experience team, as well as other HR/Payroll Centers of Expertise and our multi-brand HR Business Partners to analyze and document current processes and procedures with a consultative approach to improve the efficiency of the business operations within Workday or other integrated platforms. This individual will play both a technical and functional role depending on who they are collaborating with.
For this role, we seek a results-oriented, highly motivated, and passionate professional with a proven history of delivering high-quality Workday solutions.
This position will sit in the Atlanta Support Center with the expectation of being onsite 80% of the week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Configure and implement Workday business process updates and enhancements, business process security policies and Talent domain security policies, including leading testing and data validation, and ensure that overall system performance is aligned with business objectives.
- Work closely with HR Centers of Expertise, HR Business Partners and technical teams to gather and define requirements, provide recommendations through a consultative approach, document changes for change control purposes, design, demo, and implement solutions, and ensure user ease of adoption.
- Support all Talent and Performance Management activities within Workday, including change and enhancement requests related to Talent and Performance Management processes, Goals, Performance Appraisals, Development Plans, Disciplinary Actions, Performance Improvement Plans, Talent Review, Potential Assessment, Calibration Talent Pools, Skills, and Feedback. This role leads the end-to-end process of configuration and design sessions, business processes, eligibility rules, reporting, testing, and deployment to production.
- Create, review and participate in functional and regression testing for all system fixes, upgrades, patches, and other maintenance—including bi-annual Workday releases and new system features.
- Identify the communication of changes and benefits to end users required to support changes.
- Lead projects as defined by leadership, which includes developing project plans with key milestones and deliverables, leading meetings, providing regular project updates, and adhering to project deadlines
- Build & load EIBs as needed and utilize Mass Operation Management (MOM) to manage tasks.
- Partner with Workforce Management team on any reports and dashboards that need to be developed or modified, collaborating with COE partners to build out requirements and validate.
- Ensure HRIS processes are SOX compliant, with on-going review, gap assessment, and remediation.
- Well-versed with Workday Community and the Feature Releases, preparing for, and implementing new features and enhancements that benefit the organization.
- Train internal HR Operations team members as needed.
- Use Jira as an agile project management tool to track Workday and other system configuration through its lifecycle, including requirements, development, testing, approvals, and deployment.
- Performs other related duties and special projects as requested.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- 4 year college degree and/or successful completion of some industry coursework
- 6 plus years of experience in HRIS (or relevant)
- 3 plus years of Workday experience with Talent and Performance Management configuration and administration
- Workday Compensation experience preferred
- UKG Kronos Time Tracking experience preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Proficient in Microsoft, including Excel formulas.
- Analytical and organizational skills to work effectively in a detail-oriented environment.
- Superior interpersonal skills to effectively function in lead roles and work well within a team environment.
- Must be able to work independently or collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under deadline pressure, cope well with changing priorities and effectively manage multiple projects, which may require flexible work hours and the ability to escalate to management.
- Very well-organized, high attention to detail, with logical problem-solving skills and must be able to maintain the confidentiality of employee information.
- Good understanding of interfaces with 3rd party platforms and vendors.
- Experience understanding how all Workday modules work together, specifically, HR, Absence, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Talent Management, Recruiting, Onboarding, and Time Tracking.
- Robust knowledge and experience managing, administering, and supporting Workday Talent and Performance Management business processes and steps, including configuration, launching, and day to day support of core features and functionality for talent attributes, talent review components, goals, employee performance review components, feedback, competencies, disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, development plans, Talent calibration, performance calibration components, and Succession planning. Knowledge of Workday’s Talent Workplace, Career Hub, Flex Teams, and Skills Assessments is preferred.
