Senior Paralegal, Supply Chain

This position will be part of the team of Supply Chain attorneys that support Inspire Brands’ Supply Chain and Procurement teams at the enterprise level and across a portfolio of brands. The position will report directly to Senior Counsel – Supply Chain.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Draft and negotiate agreements with attorney oversight. There is a diverse array of agreements some of which will include supplier agreements for products and professional services; non-disclosure agreements; statements of work; and various other vendor agreements to support the restaurant supply functions
- Manage intake and allocation of projects to the attorneys via contract management tool and assist Supply Chain Counsel(s) with analysis and reporting of the legal Supply Chain capability
- Liaise with Supply Chain and Procurement teams and other related capabilities and brand teams to facilitate negotiation and completion of agreements
- Create and maintain internal legal and business facing standard operating procedures and other resources to help drive efficiency
- Manage updates to legal templates (MSAs, SOWs, Amendments, NDAs, etc.) as necessary or desirable to reflect current best practices
- Perform other general legal and/or business duties and functions as may be assigned or required by business needs; assist or participate in special projects as needed
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 4 Year degree required
- Paralegal Certification-preferred
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, or ABILITIES
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a paralegal in a law firm or corporate environment or working with procurement or supply services legal documentation or other similar job functions
- Ability to analyze problems from legal, business and practical perspectives
- Strong written and verbal communication and drafting skills in interfacing with Supply teams and counterparties
- Ability to successfully form and maintain business relationships with members of the client base and legal team members
- Ability to work proactively and independently, meet deadlines and deliver on projects and tasks with minimal supervision
- Service oriented with strong attention to detail and strong project management skills
- Ability to integrate and balance priorities for the benefit of multiple internal clients
- Strong work ethic and demonstrates initiative
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
