We are looking for Senior Master Data Management (MDM) Engineer for the Enterprise Data Organization to build and maintain MDM data products across multiple data domains that will support key data consolidation and governance initiatives. The candidate will require to possess strong technical, functional and collaborative skills to be successful in a multi stakeholder environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop and maintain MDM solutions and data products on EBX

  • Develop and maintain RDM as a separate capability on EBX.

  • Collaborate with business stewards from across various brands to develop and support stewardship workflows in EBX.

  • Partner with various engineering teams that interface with the EBX platform to build and support integrations.

  • Provide guidance to data consumers about various operational and analytical Use Cases that are/will be implemented on the EBX platform

  • Work with product vendor (Tibco) for various technical trouble shooting, product patches.

  • Develop strategy and execute EBX version upgrade (V5 to V6)

  • Work closely with Product Owners to help the PO to create business process documents, UAT test cases and acceptance criterion.

  • Communicate with multiple stakeholders from IT and business; Good Interpersonal skills would be required to engage with partners across the company.

  • Report on project initiatives and operational matters to IT leadership

  • Document technical artifacts for developed solutions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Four year degree in Information Systems, Finance/Mathematics, Computer Science or similar

  • 10+  years of total IT experience

  • 5+ years of Data Management experience with at least 2-3 years of development experience in EBX

  • 3+ years of experience in Java-J2EE would be considered a plus

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES

  • Experience in Java/J2EE development

  • Knowledge of concepts in Product Data Management in any MDM platform; At least 3 years of development experience in EBX required.

  • Understanding of the concepts of Reference Data Management (RDM) and the ability to articulate the importance of RDM to POs and business stakeholders

  • Create Data models, workflows on EBX; admin experience related to maintaining users and accesses in EBX is a plus.

  • Experience with customizations using TIBCO professional services toolkit.

  • Maintenance of EBX platform (perform upgrades as needed) by working with Infrastructure services teams.

  • Ability to work with business stakeholders to capture requirements and articulate solution features for Product Owner as well as business teams

  • Ability to work on Linux and Windows platforms.

  • Ability to write SQL queries (Advanced SQL experience would be a plus)

  • Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub

  • Maintain documentation on technical design and support processes.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer for the Enterprise Data Organization to build and manage data pipeline (Data ingest, data transformation, data distribution, quality rules, data storage etc.) for Azure cloud-based data platform. The candidate will require to possess strong technical, analytical, programming and critical thinking skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop and maintain reliable automated data solutions based on the identification, collection and evaluation of business requirements. Including but not limited to data models, database objects, stored procedures and views.

  • Developing new and enhancing existing data processing (Data Ingest, Data Transformation, Data Store, Data Management, Data Quality) components

  • Support and troubleshoot the data environment (including periodically on call)

  • Document technical artifacts for developed solutions

  • Good interpersonal skills; comfort and competence in dealing with different teams within the organization. Requires an ability to interface with multiple constituent groups and build sustainable relationships

  • Versatile, creative temperament, ability to think out-of-the box while defining sound and practical solutions. Ability to master new skills

  • Proactive approach to problem solving with effective influencing skills

  • Familiar with Agile practices and methodologies

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Four year degree in Information Systems, Finance/Mathematics, Computer Science or similar

  • 4 - 6 years of experience in Data Engineering

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES

  • Advanced SQL queries, scripts, stored procedures, materialized views, and views

  • Focus on ELT to load data into database and perform transformations in database

  • Ability to use analytical SQL functions

  • Snowflake experience a plus

  • Cloud Data Warehouse solutions experience (Snowflake, Azure DW, or Redshift); data modeling, analysis, programming

  • Experience with DevOps models utilizing a CI/CD tool

  • Work in hands-on Cloud environment in Azure Cloud Platform (ADLS, Blob)

  • Working knowledge of Python

  • Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, and BI tools like Tableau preferred

  • Profile datasets, analyze data models, troubleshoot data anomalies, and enhance data quality
