As an integral part of the EPM financial systems team, this role will be responsible for the monthly administration and routine maintenance, continual automation & enhancement, and system initiatives for Oracle ARCS & FCCS, with the primary focus on ARCS transaction matching. This position will closely partner with various finance & accounting teams to support day to day operations as well as business initiatives. This position will act as the administrator of ARCS & FCCS, with the primary focus on ARCS transaction matching.

The ideal candidate should have knowledge in accounting reconciliations & transaction matching, and experience in maintaining reconciliation systems. The candidate should demonstrate drive to learning new systems, and the capability to solve problems independently. Experience working with Oracle ARCS is a must.

RESPONS​IBILITIES

EPM Implementation & Administration (70%)

  • Own the administration of Oracle ARCS & FCCS in resolving requests, incidents and monthly close tasks. Focus will be on Oracle ARCS transaction matching.
  • Own the daily, weekly & monthly validation process of transaction matching, such as
    • Ensure bank files received are accurate.
    • Ensure files received from 3rd party vendors are accurate.
  • Own the test and validation process of any monthly patch that will be applied to ARCS.
  • Own the change management process for ARCS & FCCS.
  • Become an ad hoc reporting expert and solve problems particularly for accounting business partners.
  • Support the manager in developing/maintaining artifacts such as reconciliation profiles, match types, match rules, mappings, reports, etc.
  • Administer FCCS as needed for monthly/emergency/annual plan metadata changes across ERP and EPM systems, including adding/changing metadata across the systems, validating dimensions and ensuring ERP and EPM systems are in sync.
  • Create and maintain admin documentation for EPM systems, with the focus on ARCS & FCCS.
  • Perform testing and prepare documentation for EPM implementation with the focus on ARCS, develop partnership within the financial systems team and with other teams including IT.
  • Be ready to support all EPM applications when needed, which includes FCCS, ARCS, EPBCS & EDMCS.
  • Support regular EPM system training with various business partners as necessary, with the focus on ARCS & FCCS
  • Participate in initiating and testing of new releases and enhancements.

System Enhancements & Company Initiatives (30%)

  • Support the manager in tasks related enhancements and projects, including but not limited to testing & validations.
  • Support the ARCS manager in developing project documentations, such as requirement & design.
  • Identify and develop automation opportunities such as creating EPM automate scripts. 
  • Be ready to support all ARCS & FCCS changes and testing for company initiatives when needed, such as chart of account changes, system integrations.
  • Continually assess how EPM apps can be enhanced to support the business environment, e.g. acquisitions, dispositions, restatements, fully leverage existing or new application technology.
  • Continually assess and update the process and master data governance.
  • Support design, documentation, development, testing and validation of other EPM enhancement projects when needed.
  • Work with end users to continuously improve Inspire financial systems and offer efficient problem-solving solutions.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields including Accounting or Accounting Info Systems.
  • Has high desire of learning financial systems & continuous self development.
  • Has capabilities & mindset of problem solving independently in a very fast-paced environment.
  • Has capabilities to handle multiple priorities & stress.
  • 2-3 years' experience working in Oracle ARCS or Blackline. Experience with transaction matching is preferred.
  • Must be a team player with the ability to work independently and be accountable for results which may include the need for overtime work during peak activity periods.
