Job Summary
As an Inspire New Restaurant Training Manager (Non-Traditional), you will be a part of a fun, exciting culture that goes beyond training. Partnering with your OneInspire Brand colleagues. In this position, you will use your experience and expertise to deliver unique non-traditional curricula across all brands, support new franchisee onboarding, manage training scheduling, restaurant certification, support new restaurant openings, and national training initiatives. The role is integral to managing the operational efficiency of training and onboarding processes by overing critical aspects of the new franchisee training process within complex operating environments in non-traditional retail spaces.
Passion for developing people and building strong relationships with cross-functional partners, franchisees, and their teams will be the foundation for success in this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participates in the onboarding process for new non-traditional franchisees, manages brand specific training and provides support through restaurant open to drive long-term growth
- Facilitates and delivers inspiring synchronous virtual and in-person training experiences consistently using practical adult learning principles
- Serves as an operations expert that maintains an excellent working knowledge and a high level of proficiency in the performance of all areas of restaurant operations
- Communicates & Manages aspects of scheduled sessions virtually and in certified training restaurants
- Leads and manages the training process within host-certified training restaurants by ensuring consistent execution and oversight of training for new, non-traditional franchisees and provides development opportunities for Certified Training Managers
- Partners with local field teams and host franchisees to ensure consistent execution
- Provides and documents behavior-based feedback for learners, both positive and constructive, verbally and in writing, along with recommendations around performance
- Responsible for communicating pass/fail class completion status to learners and appropriate parties with integrity
- Responsible for keeping up to date on all content and changes in partnership with the Training Design team to incorporate new products, guest service initiatives, and new processes and systems
- Partners with regional and national training teams to support consistent and impactful training for national initiatives.
- Provide in-store support during the opening phase of new restaurants to ensure a smooth transition and help the franchisee establish operations effectively.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent experience in restaurant and/or retail management with Training, Human Resource, or multi-unit management experience
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION
- 5-7 years experience in restaurant and/or retail Training, Operations, or multi-unit management
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES
- Strong facilitation/presentation skills in a virtual or in-person classroom or restaurant/retail setting
- Ability to consult, influence and coach adult learners
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Self-accountability & autonomy
- Must be able to build credibility and trusting relationships
- Computer skills – Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint) or equivalent

Travel Required
Approximately 75-90% travel will be required to support the position’s responsibilities. This could include up to 5 nights away from home for training and weekend travel.
