The Manager, Restaurant Technology & Equipment is responsible for executing and leveraging technology and points of access to support the brand strategy and key initiatives. The position is focused on driving, innovating and leveraging technology to streamline operations execution, maximize labor efficiency, and increase profitability for Arby’s restaurants.
They will be responsible for maintaining close working relationships with IT, Learning, Commercial Services and Field Operations to align strategy and priorities for the team and their projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integrates best in class retail technology tools into the Arby’s ecosystem to support operational excellence and maximize profitability.
- Leverages the use of new or existing technology and management systems, including but not limited to: POS, back office, KVS, and DT Technology
- Work closely with the Operations team to assess equipment needs and ensure proper training for team members
- Develop preventative maintenance programs to extend equipment lifespan and reduce repair costs
- Leads and sets success criteria for execution of tests across the team, following a consistent, simple and efficient testing process
- Manages and streamlines how enhancements and improvements are delivered to, trained, and executed for restaurants
- Lead new pilots and rollouts across locations, ensuring timelines, training, and adoption.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of operations experience working within a franchise organization
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing people and processes
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to drive change and process improvements.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, ERP systems, Power BI, etc.).
- Able to influence, motivate, and collaborate with numerous stakeholders of varying levels.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make strategic decisions under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and ability to speak and write concisely and effectively, adapting messages to a range of audiences
