The Manager - Inspire Marketplace & Delivery Operations and Strategy will be responsible for operationalizing Inspire Brands’ marketplace channels and fulfillment of brands’ owned channel delivery while supporting growth and strategy of Inspire’s holistic delivery business. As part of the Digital Guest Experience Team, you will work cross-functionally across all Commercial, Shared Services, IT, and Brands to optimize and standardize delivery operations, improve marketing implementation on third-party platforms, and refine channel stewardship in partnership with the Delivery Business team to drive best-in-class practices across Inspire’s off-premises digital channels. 

 
  

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Inspire Marketplace Operations – Serve as channel stakeholder overseeing all operational aspects of third-party marketplace and implementation of operational requirements for owned channel delivery.    
  • Inspire Marketplace Strategy – Sustain a deep understanding of industry and marketplace landscape to influence Inspire delivery roadmap. Validate brand priorities and identify leading edge, new fulfillment, or growth opportunities to mature Inspire off-premises business. 
  • Brand Marketplace Execution - Consolidated management of day-to-day activities within team, including introduction of new marketplaces, franchise adoption, marketing implementation for promotions, and optimization of channel and operations. Applicable brands: Arby’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, Sonic, Jimmy John’s, and Dunkin’ ($2B annual marketplace sales) 
  • Performance Analysis – Leverage brand and channel analytics to identify actionable insights to improve sales or operations of marketplace or fulfillment channels  
  • Partnership Management – Serve as operational lead within ongoing relationship with third party partners and middleware partners in addition to serving as escalation point for delivery leads when impacting uptime, channel integrations, and menu and tax management on third party platforms.  
  • Influence negotiations of marketplace and fulfillment terms: engage regularly with our various third-party partners and internal teams to maintain and grow our relationships.  
  • Marketing – collaborate with delivery business team, and Demand Gen to plan, negotiate, implement, and measure ROI of marketing placement and discounting strategies on marketplaces  
  • Operational Excellence – establish and oversee implementation of best practices for all aspects of our marketplace and delivery digital business to facilitate brand adoption, including platform onboarding procedures, change of ownership, tax management, and menu framework.  
  • Establish Best in Class: Serve as subject matter expert across marketplace and fulfillment services for operational practices and establish a best-in-class framework in which the delivery operations analyst and Associate Manager will operate. Turn strategy and ideas into action, partner with brand Ops Services leads to scale products and procedures in context of the entire off-premises portfolio. Once the best-in-class framework is set, you’ll need to measure the impact against expected results and facilitate winning decisions with data, facts, and thoughtful analysis 
  • Build influence and relationships: Be a strategic thought partner across the business, collaborating closely with Delivery Business team and encourage growth of expertise among Delivery Operations team and cross-functional teams to build business cases to deliver results across Brands. Cultivate strong internal partnerships to test, learn, and launch healthy growth opportunities 
  • Engage leadership: prepare and deliver leadership updates on Inspire Brands marketplace and delivery operations and strategy, performance, and partner relationships 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 4 year degree preferred 
  • 6-10 years experience in Marketing, Operations, Consulting or Strategy 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES 

  • Proven ability to influence decisions and drive change 
  • Relationship builder with highly collaborative style 
  • Proven ability to scale operational processes and procedures   
  • Analytically minded: Ability to back up decisions with data and facts 
  • Management aptitude to oversee delivery operations team of 3 dedicated roles, including remote roles based within the Hyderabad Support Center  
  • Ability to independently translate high-level goals into actionable, measurable plans 
  • Demonstration of leadership and strong collaboration at all levels 
  • General understanding of 3rd party Delivery Service Providers (DSPs) business processes 
  • Results-driven with the ability to work under pressure; navigate through ambiguity, and balance multiple priorities 
  • Attentiveness to details with the ability to understand business context and find common ground 
  • Ability to translate business needs to process requirements, and implement and operate those processes 
  • Demonstration of versatile learning with a bias for continuous improvement 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence engineers, project managers, corporate leadership, and partners.
