IMC Influencer and Social Manager

This role is responsible for managing the execution and ideation of influencer strategy social activations, and brand in cultural. The role will partner closely with the Associate Manager of IMC, the IMC Specialist, social and influencer agencies, as well as the cross-functional teams to tap into culture 24/7 and deliver on business goals The ideal candidate for this role will be extremely creative with a strong passion for social media marketing and have their finger on the pulse of culture and social trends.
Responsibilities:
Influencer Strategy & Execution
Manage the influencer agency to develop influencer strategies that drive business goals and bring SONIC to forefront of culture
Collaborate with IMC team and PR team on influencer vetting process
Execute Sonic surprise and delight initiatives by identifying and engaging with brand fans and influencers at the speed of culture
Develop briefs and reports as needed for Influencer agencies and leadership
Identify new and creative ways to integrate influencers into various brand activations and social
Social
Strategize and develop social activations to support brand partnerships, influencers, paid social and organic social support
Work closely with our media team and IMC Comms planning team to ensure social activations are driving buzz and hitting KPIs
Strategize new and unique ways to promote the SONIC LTO calendar, activations, and always-on opportunities in paid social
Support the creative review process for all paid social assets
Brand Activations/Culture
Help identify opportunities in culture for Sonic to show up in unique and clever ways that drive influence
Strategize unique ways we can leverage social to amplify brand activations, merchandise, and buzzy cultural opportunities
Support the execution of paid social initiatives and influencers with brand activations
Requirements:
4 Year Degree Preferred
6+ years of experience in Marketing, specifically social or brand activations
Creative minded and ability to think outside the box, generate new ideas and connect the brand into culture and partnerships
Passion for social media and the speed of culture
Well-versed in the top social platforms – TikTok, Meta, X, Snap, and Pinterest – with strong sense of channel best practices
Ability to identify cultural trends and provide recommendations on how to execute
Excellent project and time management skills
Ability to balance multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment
Ability to adapt to frequent change
Event planning and logistic
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated experience in problem solving and managing multiple tasks
Personal integrity, humility, an appreciation for the power of true teamwork, and a sense of humor
Self-starter mentality
