Manager, Brand Analytics - Buffalo Wild Wings

In this role, the ideal candidate will be critical in enabling the Buffalo Wild Wings brand to understand business performance. The manager will develop recommendations to inform short and long-term strategic decision-making. This individual should be an expert at generating insights from data and communicating effectively with stakeholders. The manager will be a key resource for the brand in answering business questions efficiently and effectively. This role requires strong people leadership skills, as the manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the team while coaching and developing three analysts to support their growth and career progression.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Insight generation – generate insights that improve the business through linking various data sources (e.g., sales, competitor, market, customer, etc.)
- Relationship management – develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners
- Business analysis – analyze brand performance and sales trends, including promotion and test analysis
- Brand performance – analyze and monitor key metrics across brand health, product performance, and guest experience
- KPI reporting – create and maintain reports that assess ongoing business performance, leading indicators, and explanatory factors
- Ad hoc reporting – develop, execute, and deliver reports based on brand business requirements
- Project management – ensure that medium/long term projects are implemented on time and achieve objectives
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 4-Year degree preferably in Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Business or Mathematics
- Graduate degree preferred
- 5-7 years relevant experience in marketing, business analysis, data management / reporting, or other related area or an MBA
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES
- Ideal candidate has an inquisitive nature and a passion for learning and solving problems
- Self-starter personality who can operate with minimal supervision
- Understands business principles and strategy, and possesses strong analytical skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, with expertise in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, advanced functions, formulas, filtering, etc.) and database skills (e.g., SQL, Access, etc.) a plus
- Ability to collect and synthesize information, making it relevant, understandable, and actionable for key stakeholders
- Ability to balance multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Effectively interact at all levels of the organization across multiple functional areas
- Excellent writing, presentation, project management and strong influencing skills required
- Interest in the restaurant industry and desire to train in our restaurants to learn operations, and a strong desire to help shape the future at Inspire Brands
- Minimal travel may be required
