As the Operations Business lead for Baskin Robbins Canada, this role is responsible for leading the strategic growth, operational excellence, and brand consistency across Canadian franchise operations. The position drives performance in sales, profitability, digital execution, and net unit growth, while serving as the primary liaison between the brand and Canadian franchisees.
The Operations Business lead oversees a portfolio of Canadian Franchisees, working with them to set and exceed performance goals in same-store sales, profitability, digital sales execution, customer experience and network expansion. This role is responsible to support the development of the strategic direction of Baskin Robbins in Canada, coaching franchise teams to deliver a consistent brand experience and enable a sustainable, scalable growth.
Salary: 95,000-125,000 CAD per year
The salary range above represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual placement within this range will vary based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, and location.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Leadership for Canada -Support the Director of International Business (Canada) with all aspects of Baskin Robbins operations and business planning throughout Canada, ensuring alignment with brand standards and corporate objectives. Act as the primary point of contact for Canadian franchisees and internal stakeholders.
Franchise Performance Management- Achieve operational and business performance goals for Canadian franchisees, including same-store sales growth, profitability, and digital sales execution
Annual Planning & Business Reviews -Facilitate annual planning and business reviews with franchisees to assess performance, align on future goals, and develop actionable plans for growth and operational excellence
Net Unit Growth Strategy -Develop and execute strategies for net unit growth throughout Canada, including market planning, franchisee readiness, store capex, real estate and coordination with development and construction teams
Digital Sales Execution -Drive adoption and performance of digital sales channels, including mobile ordering, delivery platforms, and loyalty programs. Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize digital initiatives and ensure franchisee alignment and executional excellence
Data-Driven Coaching -Analyze performance data to guide franchisee actions, provide strategic coaching, and monitor and strengthen performance against commitments
Development & Remodel Oversight -Support franchisees in remodeling and new restaurant development, ensuring alignment with construction teams and operational specifications, as well as executing within the targeted timelines
Cross-Functional Collaboration -Coordinate and influence internal teams (e.g., marketing, training, supply chain, IT, design & construction, finance) to support franchisee initiatives and ensure consistent brand execution.
Marketing Execution -Partner with Field Marketing to support national and regional campaigns, product rollouts, and local marketing strategies.
Operational Evaluations -Conduct restaurant evaluations as needed to ensure compliance with brand standards and identify opportunities for improvement.
Training Coordination -Collaborate with Field Training to ensure franchisees receive the necessary support for onboarding and ongoing development
Budget Management- Ensure responsible use of G&A expenses within established parameters
Administrative Excellence -Complete all administrative responsibilities in a timely and accurate manner
EDUCATION
Minimum: High School Diploma or GED
Preferred: 4 yr degree
EXPERIENCE
Minimum: 10+ years in multi-unit operations or supervisory management
Prior leadership experience required; experience in Canadian market preferred in QSR, consumer packaged goods or retail.
