The role will provide critical financial and analytical support to the supply chain procurement team. Key responsibilities will include establishing financial models and processes to aid in evaluation of RFP cost proposals and market basket forecasts. 

This position sits within our Atlanta based Global Support Center with an expectation to be onsite 80% of the time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • ​Manage market basket forecast process including partnering with commodities and procurement teams to ensure accurate forecasts of market basket items.
  • Manage, maintain and update market basket data set. Provide financial reporting on outcomes of RFPs for supply chain and company leadership
  • Support Annual Budget process for market basket, and work with FP&A. 
  • Build, assess and understand key budget assumptions developed within the team and in coordination with supply chain operations. 
  • Partner with the Supply Chain Leadership Team to ensure assumptions are understood and align with targets.
  • Manage the activities and output of a Senior Financial Analyst. 
  • Responsibilities include employee development, communication, formal performance appraisals, and project management.
  • Participate in special projects as needed.
  • Enhance financial analysis and reporting.
  • Create ad hoc reporting as requested.
  • Provide excellent customer service to Supply Chain team and Support Center.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Required:  Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field.
  • Preferred:  A Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Required:  4-6+ years experience in relevant work experience including finance, accounting, and/or operational analysis.
  • Preferred: 2+ years supervisory experience.
  • Preferred: COGS/Procurement analysis experience.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.  Working knowledge of database applications including Microsoft Access as well as Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook
  • SQL coding
  • Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong listening, communication and influencing skills.
  • Advanced understanding and working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Sound knowledge of accounting and accounting principles.
  • Strong curiosity with continuous improvement mindset and drive to support others with highly relevant / actionable insights.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES

  • Oracle Cloud.
  • Experience with Enterprise software, planning software (ePBCS), financial consolidation software, and relational databases.
  • PowerBI (preferred, not required).

DIRECT REPORTS

  • Responsible for 1 direct report: Senior Financial Analyst and/or Financial Analyst.
