The Field Training Manager supports restaurant operations leaders in driving
culture, guest experiences and execution of training initiatives that support
operational processes and procedures. This role develops skills and behaviors to harness training tactics and strategies to advance results in people, performance, and profit initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support a culture of high performance and accountability which embodies BWW values and delivers on the brand promise
Evaluates performance and profits short falls to improve operations and the guest experience
Achieve financial results equal to or better than Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
Provides coaching, support and development to multi-restaurant leaders (DMs, BCs, etc.) to uphold standards to meet business objectives and enhance guest and team member experience
Identifies trainers and high potentials within the organization. Develops a bench for openings and future growth and ensure leaders successfully grow into expanded roles
Leads activation rollouts within designated regions to ensure a high level of understanding and preparation prior to launch. Follows up on execution, road blocks and feedback
Communicates & Manages aspects of scheduled sessions virtually and in certified training restaurants
Provides and documents behavior-based feedback for learners, both positive and constructive, verbally and in writing, along with recommendations around performance
Responsible for communicating pass/fail class completion status to learners and appropriate parties with integrity
Leads and manages host certified training restaurant certification process and relationships partnering with local field teams and host franchisees to ensure consistent execution
Serves as an integral part of District Manager and Training General Manager Development
Serves as training expert within region
Serves as a field liaison and driver of communication between the support center and District Managers or sports bars
Champions profitability initiatives
Leads the certification process for National Certified Training Sports Bars and GO restaurants by ensuring consistent execution and oversight of the certification process
Champions the training responsibility for the new sports bar opening process within their region
Key player in the LEAD development process for all levels of the organization
Serves as an operation expert that maintains an excellent working knowledge and a high level of proficiency in the performance of all phases of operations
Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local laws, as well as brand standards
Curates culture aligned with the organization’s purpose and values, driving high levels of engagement and retention at all levels of the brand
Communicates openly and honestly with multi-restaurant leaders, DVPs, RVPs, DFOs and all others about plans, progress and opportunities
Provide recommendations and assess the efficacy of current training practices and content
Maintain an attitude of flexibility that allows performance above and beyond the parameters of this position description
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
4-year degree or equivalent combination of education and professional work experience
Working knowledge of group setting learning delivery
Excellent oral and written communication
Strong drive for results, attention to quality and details, analytical problem-solving skills
Four years of restaurant management experience with two years at/above the District Manager level
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to assess needs, influence, collaborate, deliver and leadership
Presentation Skills
Strong organizational and planning skills
Ability to set direction, develop and lead learning and development strategies that are aligned with business strategy

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per year
The salary range above represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual placement within this range will vary based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, and location.
