The ICR Field Marketing Manager will focus on providing local marketing leadership, strategy and program recommendations to drive top line sales.  

 

With the mission to be locally-impactful, the ICR Field Marketing Manager will work closely with field leadership and support center team members to understand which promotions and initiatives will make a material impact in driving the business. 

 

This role is both strategic and hands-on, balancing cross-functional collaboration with a penchant for initiative that ultimately results in improved transactions, profitability, and guest satisfaction across our company restaurants 

Responsibilities:

EBITDA Market Support 

  • Partnering with RVPs, identify and diagnose regional and specific trends in our markets around performance and working with our field leadership build solutions to accelerate success and change course on opportunities  

  • Identify gaps early, partner cross-functionally to resolve them, and drive topline performance 

  • Provide real-time local market intelligence and system feedback associated with sales, promotions, menu tests and pricing 

 

Local Marketing Plans 

  • Collaborate with local agency and Inspire Media Strategy & Planning team on holistic plan development 

  • Align stakeholders (operations, franchisees, agencies) on approved plans 

  • Develop and implement quarterly restaurant-level initiatives to combat competitive intrusion and underperformance  

  • Management of co-op activity as determined by Director, Field Marketing based on brand-level involvement 

 

Analysis & Insights 

  • Partner with Data & Analysis team on regular reporting of business results to inform proactive media and/or promotional changes 

  • Obtain end-of-promotion sales/transaction/ROI benefit for all locally implemented initiatives and pivot as necessary 

 

Budget Management 

  • Manage local budget and co-op cashflow for assigned DMAs 

  • Reconcile period spending and submit any accruals needed for accurate financial reporting 

  • Submit variance explanation for any discrepancies versus budget 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 

  • 5-10 years of total experience working in field marketing roles, focused specifically on community engagement  

  • Proven ability to communicate with above and restaurant team members to build vision and drive action  

  • Proven ability to lead brand-level field marketing initiatives and deliver measurable top line impact 

  • Exceptional communication and influence skills; able to bridge brand and enterprise priorities 

  • Willingness to travel (~20%) 

 

ABILITIES 

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to lead while making decisions and solving problems. 

  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and writing skills. 

  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage against established timelines and deliverables. 

  • Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook or equivalent.
