Purpose of Position:
The Audience Planning team at Inspire is the strategic bridge between Consumer Strategy from our brands and Media Strategy from our central media team, creating audience strategy and working with the paid media organization to develop, execute, measure, and optimize audience segments across paid channels. The Audience Planning Specialist is a critical role and requires an individual to work well with an extended team and be prepared for a fast-paced, high-volume, detail-oriented environment. This individual is expected to show resourcefulness, exhibit accountability, and demonstrate initiative. The Audience Planning Specialist is expected to be an active participant in meetings and day-to-day interactions with an increasing level of contribution as the experience builds.
Responsibilities:
Support Audience Planning team in targeting planning and execution (75%)
Own the team audience trackers and requests to ensure that audiences are created, executed, and measured correctly across all 6 brands.
Working closely supporting the Manager and Associate Manager, participate in the development of and documentation of audience planning strategies across the portfolio.
Liaise between Audience Planning, the external agency team, and the Demand Generation Analytics team to ensure audience builds are on schedule and sent to the correct destinations.
Track paid media projects with Inspire’s Customer Data Platform and Audience Clean Room to ensure Inspire’s audience targeting capabilities are best in class.
Participate in marketing briefing process to ensure proper consumer definitions are included for audience build-outs.
Track audience learning agendas and testing roadmaps for the Audience Planning team.
Assist the Director in special enterprise-level projects and presentations.
Assist in creation Audience Planning strategy presentations (25%)
Assist team in creation of presentations for the Audience Planning team to tell story of audience plans and rationale.
Help create standard templates to be used for all brief-back presentations across the brands.
Requirements:
4 Year Degree Preferred -
1-2 years of relevant experience in marketing and / or media, ideally in an addressable media environment.
Demonstrated experience in project management required.
Proactive self-starter who can work with minimal supervision.
Detail and deadline-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
Ability to balance multiple projects and shifting deadlines.
Team player skilled at operating in a matrixed organization.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for frequent contact with the internal and external teams.
Basic understanding of paid/owned media, media planning, and media math.
Analytical and strategic, with the ability to synthesize and organize complex ideas into simple, understandable thoughts.
Advanced PowerPoint skills and ability to turn data and insights into digestible visuals.
Strong sense of curiosity and desire to understand why things work the way they do.
