To assist the process of commercializing new beverage products for the US market, ensuring products are developed in a manner that is operationally feasible in our system and executable in a manufacturing environment. To compile and assist with interpretation of data and analytical analysis for all product categories. Also, to support all stakeholders in bringing new and existing cost optimized or reformulated products to market by working with suppliers, distributors, co-packers, and internal cross functional teams represented by Culinary, Marketing, QA, Supply Chain, and Operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in compiling commercialization documentation, review and approval processes (meeting recaps, specification manuals, labels, ingredient specifications, project reports).
Attends/Assists in product reviews of bench and production samples with cross functional teams to ensure that the conceptual goals of the project are upheld during the scale up process.
Review gold standard product formulations to ensure that the products will meet government, supplier, and company standards/expectations.
Assists in set up of product evaluations to assess product manufacturing capability through measurements and use of basic lab instruments across all categories
Source new potential suppliers for the ability to support new product innovation and/or manufacture existing items. Participate in screenings.
Utilize project management tools to complete project assignments and meet deadlines.
Manage shelf-life study tracker and execution of product evaluations across all categories
Manage commercialization tracker document across all categories and create periodic reports showing overall project status
Management of retain samples (dry and refrigerated/frozen storage).
Requirements:
4 year Degree in Culinary Arts, Food Science, or Food Engineering degrees preferred
Minimum of 0-3 years experience with food product manufacturing in QA, R&D, Commercialization, Food Engineering, or Food Product Development
Good Communication and Problem Solving/Troubleshooting skills
Technical Skills - computer competency and analytical skills including Excel, Word
Lab Equipment- basic understanding of lab equipment including SightLine, Viscometer, Colorimeter, etc.
Functional Technical Skills may include specific industry/category knowledge (i.e. logistics, commodities, ingredients, purchasing, distribution, forecasting, relationship management, etc.)
Ability to build effective relationships
Basic knowledge of regulatory requirements and ability to commercialize products in a wide variety of beverage categories

Salary: $52,300.00 - $78,500 per year
The salary range above represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual placement within this range will vary based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, and location.
